Someone wanted a tighter choke and put a Poly-Choke on it, either by threading the muzzle and screwing it on or by sweating it on. With that barrel length, and marked CYL, I'm gonna guess that it was originally a 20" gun. I thought that one of you might know if non-standard lengths were factory produced for certain customers? No markings other than the SN and a "proof mark"? So the barrel is much short than usual.
